Sint-Rembert school group using data in fight against COVID
The coronavirus hits almost every sector directly or indirectly. This is definitely the case for schools. In order to remain open, teachers and principals do everything they can to ensure proper ventilation for students. Unfortunately, this leads to a significant increase in heating costs. One solution is to measure the CO2 levels and temperatures in classrooms, in an attempt to keep the heating bill under control.
How Crodeon helps research companies save time with remote monitoring and data logging
Research organisations often rely on data to search for the next breakthrough discovery. Data logging however, can be a painful process where finding and setting up the right components takes valuable time, especially outdoors or when wireless connectivity is involved.
Expanding our team
Busy times at Crodeon. We recently hired two more developers to accelerate our growth. Each of them will play a key role at our company, so they definitely deserve an introduction.
How Crodeon and delaware make IoT more accessible
IoT is about ecosystems. That's a message we've been spreading for a while now. Today we are excited to announce a new partnership with delaware, one of Belgium's finest IT service companies.
Launch of the Crodeon webshop
Crodeon takes Internet of Things to a new level and is proud to announce the launch of its online store. The shop features an overview of the devices, kits, sensors and accessories that we offer and lets you order anything in just a few clicks. We ship to 32 European countries, with many more coming in the near future.
New Crodeon logo
As you may have noticed, since last month the Crodeon logo got a slight facelift. Our first logo was designed in May 2015 so it was time for something new. Nevertheless we wanted to keep the general style and color palette as much as possible similar to how it was, for obvious strategic purposes.
Crodeon measures air quality and insulating performance for Total Value Wall
In order to monitor the effects of the Total Value Wall in several test locations in Flanders, Crodeon was asked to provide remote sensing hardware. The first three locations are up and running; the results already look promising.
Our take on how to get started with Internet of Things projects
Getting started with IoT can be hard. Compared to classic software or hardware projects, IoT is hard because there’s multiple different domains involved: hardware, networking, connectivity and software. In each of these domains there will be hurdles to overcome, which is why many IoT projects fail or face budget overruns.
