This CO2 sensor offers the perfect mix of quality and affordability. It measures CO2 as well as temperature and relative humidity indoor or outdoor. The sensor is compatible with your Crodeon Reporter and we take care of calibration so you don't have to.
Measuring CO2 is a challenging endeavour. Crodeon aims to help customers in this process by using quality hardware, following manufacturer’s technical instructions and translating these requirements into understandable guidelines for the end user.
The Crodeon CO2 sensor uses the Sensirion SCD30 module for measuring CO2, temperature and humidity. This self-calibrating dual-channel NDIR sensor requires no manual maintenance by the user, another huge time saver. The SCD30 achieves full accuracy using the built-in calibration feature provided by Sensirion.
During manufacturing of your CO2 sensor, Crodeon performs the FRC calibration algorithm as instructed by Sensirion. This calibration process involves the following steps:
No further calibration is required by the end user. The accuracy will not deviate more than +/-50ppm during the lifetime of the sensor.
The SCD30 is built into a vented enclosure in order to allow optimal air circulation. When installing the sensor in an outdoor environment, please mount the sensor with the ventilation holes directed to the sides. If the sensor is directly exposed to rainy weather conditions, appropriate protection using a rain shield or weather cover is required.
The sensor is connected to your Crodeon Reporter with the included M12 extension cord. Additional extension cords can be purchased in the Crodeon shop. The maximum cable length between the sensor and Reporter is 30m.

Reporter® requires a subscription of €180 /year to operate. Add this package to your cart when checking out. The subscription covers things like connectivity and use of the Crodeon Dashboard. Kits already include a 1 year subscription. Contact us if you only need the sensors without connectivity.
