Happy New Year! We'll start the year 2026 by having a quick look at our advancements for 2025. A lot has happened this year, so buckle up!
New features on the Crodeon Dashboard
Our cloud platform, called the Crodeon Dashboard, is ever-evolving. We always listen to customer feedback to make our Dashboard as user-friendly as possible. These new features got added to the Dashboard in 2025.
Dutch language option
Our Dashboard was previously only available in English, thanks to popular demand, we have introduced the Dutch language to the Crodeon Dashboard as well. Simply go to your profile settings and switch to Dutch if you wish to use the Dashboard in this language!
Will we be introducing more language options in the future? French will probably be a project for 2026! Do you want to test our translation as a beta user? Send us an email and we'll make it happen!
Directly invite a user to your group
In the past, you'd first have to create an account on the Crodeon Dashboard before someone could make you a part of their group. This is no longer necessary! As an owner or editor, you can simply directly invite someone to your group by email address.
Add sensor channels to your sensor
Do you want to add extra channels to your sensor? In 2025, we added some new options for easy channel creation: Linear Transformation, Accumulate, Polynomial Transformation and an Operating Hours Counter.
New products on the shop
We continue to offer new sensors and kits to our customers, which is why we introduced several new measuring and monitoring options in 2025.
Two new kits
Kits are our most user-friendly plug & play options when it comes to kickstarting your own remote monitoring project. Simply connect everything in this pre-assembled kit and watch your data stream into the Crodeon Dashboard!
- Energy Audit Kit: This kit helps you realise energy audits everywhere and anywhere in the blink of an eye.
- Industrial Weighing Kit: This kit helps you track and monitor changes in weight in industrial installations like laboratories.
New sensors
Sensors are mix & match compatible on every Reporter thanks to our Sensor Adapters. Simply choose your own unique combination of sensors to build the monitoring set-up of your dreams.
- TSS sensor: The Total Suspended Solids sensor by Olpas is often used in contexts related to water quality measurement.
- Tilt sensor: A tilt sensor measures the angle of the object it's attached to on a triaxial basis.
- Davis rain gauge: Davis is a renowned sensor producer when it comes to weather monitoring, this rain gauge measures rainfall in great detail and accuracy.
- OPTIFLUX 2000 & OPTIWAVE 15xx: KROHNE excels in water sensors, which is why we added these two sensors to our collection. The OPTIFLUX 2000 sensor measures the flow of conductive liquids, the OPTIWAVE 15xx sensor measures level and flow in open channels.
- Teros 10 & Teros 12: The Teros soil moisture sensors by METER Group measure the water content of your soil. The Teros 12 additionally measures soil temperature and soil electrical conductivity.

Giving you energy, exactly how you need it!
Crodeon is all about flexible power options to help you realise your monitoring projects in even the most remote places. Which why we have created low power settings and a Battery Bank for Reporter!
Low power settings
Do you need Reporter to be able to measure and monitor for a year using only one charge of the internal battery? No problem!
We introduced some shiny new settings to your Reporter, such as the new transmission interval setting. This can be used to significantly reduce your Reporter's power consumption, and therefore improve battery life up to a year!
When this setting is enabled, Reporter measures 24 times per day and streams its data to the Crodeon Dashboard at midnight. This works with many of our low power sensors, but not all. Contact us to find out if your setup can be used in low power.
Battery Bank
Have you always wanted to run Reporter on a mobile power source that's not the solar panel? It's possible now!
Our Battery Bank is a portable battery that gives you 150Wh or 300Wh, which will keep your Reporter up and running for a month up to a year, depending on your chosen sensors and the measurement interval. The Battery Bank also allows you to connect industrial sensors that require more than 5V power supply

Cleaner air in agriculture: agricultural air scrubbers
It is a known fact that industrial livestock farming produces gases that can harm the environment, such as ammonia, methane and nitrous oxide. Odours too can cause nuisance locally.
Agricultural air scrubbers are installations that remove ammonia through chemical reaction and aim to neutralise odours. These installations require constant monitoring according to Flemish law, starting January first 2026.
This year, our trusted partner Liquisens launched a solution to make air scrubber monitoring easy and accessible to the industrial livestock farmer. This solution uses Reporter for the monitoring and measurement data collection of the agricultural air scrubbers.

You probably already know that at Crodeon, we trust in strength through combined effort. This is why we're always open to new partnerships. We were happy to welcome some new partners in 2025.
KROHNE
KROHNE is a renowned sensor producer for industrial applications, specialised in flow measurement, level measurement, temperature measurement and pressure measurement. In 2025, KROHNE and Crodeon officially partnered up to bundle the strength of high-quality sensors and easy plug & play remote monitoring. You can even find Reporter on KROHNE's website!
Prodata Weather Systems
Prodata Weather Systems is a well-known dealer of weather monitoring hardware in the UK, such as Davis weather sensors. Since 2025, Prodata has added Reporter to its product range, giving its customers more flexibility when it comes to plug & play weather monitoring. View Reporter on Prodata's website.
Master Chips
Master Chips is a trusted Belgian firm specialised in embedded software, automation, IoT, power and Flash Memory for over 40 years. Combining these specialities with Reporter proved to be a master plan! The Energy Audit Kit was born, a user-friendly plug & play way to make energy audits possible anywhere, anytime.
