Time flies when you're having fun, and just like that, we've arrived at the end of 2024. Yet another year full of innovation, creation, and collaboration! We launched new products, integrated new sensors, shared knowledge and took on a global approach to remote monitoring.
20 countries, 400 customers
Reporter, Belgian tech to be reckoned with, became well-travelled this year. Our sensor module can now be found from Hawaii to Indonesia. 400 Customers (big and small) in 20 countries already trust in Reporter for reliable, plug & play, remote monitoring.
Thanks to our perfected Sensor Adapter, we were able to connect even more sensors to our Reporter this year. Following the prototype in 2023, the Sensor Adapter was officially introduced into our product range in 2024.
The Sensor Adapter essentially acts as a small translation module between the language your sensor speaks and the language understood by Reporter. At present, we offer four different types of adapters:
Digital / Analog Inputs
UART / I2C
Modbus / RS-485
4-20 mA
However, many new Sensor Adapters are already planned for 2025!
14 new sensors
Our sensor collection has almost doubled this year as a result of our Sensor Adapter. We added fourteen new sensors to our webshop! Still can't find the sensor you're looking for? Let us know and we'll look into making it Reporter-compatible using our adapters!
Mastering the art of webinars
For our loyal readers, it's no secret that we began hosting webinars in 2023, but 2024 is the year we perfected the art of hosting webinars. This year, we organised no fewer than eight webinars: three in Dutch, four in English, and one in French! Our focus included topics such as agriculture, water, weather safety, sustainable energy use, smart dewatering, construction, and tree health monitoring.
In 2015 Jonathan and Sam founded Crodeon in the picturesque village of Zarren, meaning that 2025 will mark Crodeon's 10th birthday. Join us in celebrating 10 years of Crodeon!
This first decade truly left its mark on the world of IoT. We're looking forward to how we'll be impacting the next one!
In 2025 we'll be celebrating ten years of Crodeon, launching new products, organising more webinars, posting new blogs, and creating new partnerships … and perhaps we'll be translating our website into a couple more languages? Stay tuned!
Curious about our milestones in 2023 and 2022? Read more here!
As Co-Founder & CEO at Crodeon, Jonathan has a broad knowledge about how sensors are changing our daily lives. Over the past 7 years he has been talking to customers in many sectors, from agriculture to industry and everything in between. Jonathan knows the ins and outs of Internet of Things and what keeps our customers awake at night.
